Abdul Latif Jameel’s flagship renewables business,\u00a0Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV)<\/a>, in partnership with\u00a0Harmony Energy<\/a>, continues to make the headlines with their breakthrough utility-scale storage project at Holes Bay, Dorset (UK), driving the UK’s transition towards renewable energy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The plant is made up of six Tesla megapack batteries that can store energy from renewable sources to be used at times of peak consumption. The National Grid Electricity System Operator<\/a> uses the balancing market to fine tune supply and demand to make sure they match
