A delegation of representatives from China\u2019s Guangzhou government, led by Zhang Rui<\/a>, (\u5f20\u9510), Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Municipal People\u2019s Government<\/a> has visited the GAC Motor<\/a> flagship Sales and Service Center in Cairo, Egypt, operated by Jameel Motors<\/a> Egypt, earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Wang Shunsheng (\u738b\u987a\u80dc), Deputy General Manager, GAC International<\/a> (Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd), and Tarek Abdullatif<\/a>, Regional Director, Jameel Motors Egypt hosted the delegation and provided a tour of the showroom, taking in a series of GAC\u2019s latest models.\u00a0 \u00a0Zhang Rui and his colleagues received briefings from their hosts on GAC\u2019s overseas business model, market strategy, and product introduction plans specifically for the Egyptian market, and discussions took place on how to further promote the brand in the country.<\/p>\n

Zhang Rui praised the achievements of Abdul Latif Jameel<\/a> and Jameel Motors<\/a> in launching GAC in Egypt<\/a>, and he encouraged GAC to increase its investment in the country, expanding distribution channels and accelerating the plans to enhance localized operations.\u00a0 He reiterated that the Guangzhou Municipal People\u2019s Government fully supports GAC in their cutting-edge technology and high-quality services in Egypt.<\/p>\n

This visit underscores the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government’s strong commitment to the development of GAC in Egypt, and furthering East-to-East trading relations more widely. \u00a0As the China-Egypt Belt and Road Initiative enters a fast track, GAC International is set to seize the opportunity to consolidate a solid presence in Egypt providing consumers with the latest in advanced Chinese technologies<\/a>.\u00a0 Together with local distributors, GAC International is working to accelerate operations in a bid to facilitate brand growth and inject new impetus<\/a> to China-Egypt automotive industry cooperation.<\/p>\n

GAC Motor launched in Egypt in November 2023<\/a>, establishing a brand presence with the opening of its flagship store<\/a> through a distribution agreement with Jameel Motors, the mobility brand of Abdul Latif Jameel.\u00a0 GAC, in line with its mission to uphold a premium brand position, introduced four proven performers in the initial stages to the Egyptian market: the All New GS4<\/a>,
