Manager, Abdul Latif Jameel Land, grew up in the Philippines, where he worked as a project engineer. \u00a0He joined Abdul Latif Jameel as a site engineer in 1994 and has been promoted several times since, thanks partly to the regular and wide-ranging training opportunities he has enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/156535722\" width=\"800\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOne of the things I really appreciate about working for Abdul Latif Jameel is that they are fair. \u00a0Regardless of your nationality, race or religion, they value hard work and believe in equal opportunities for everybody. \u00a0You\u2019re given a chance to show the best that you can offer, and I really appreciate that.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>There\u2019s no such thing as a typical day, I\u2019m always on the go, travelling from site to site and different offices, having meetings and checking paperwork, but I really like this diversity. \u00a0Being part of a multicultural team is also something I really enjoy.\u00a0 It\u2019s always interesting to understand how people from other countries work and think. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Jeddah is a very family-oriented place. \u00a0We dine out every Saturday night and enjoy picnics in the parks. \u00a0I\u2019m very aware of the importance of staying healthy here, with so many restaurants and different cuisines it would be very easy to slip into unhealthy habits, so I play tennis, swim and often go jogging too \u2013 the corniche is a
