The CEO of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV<\/a>), Daniel Sagi-Vela<\/a>, welcomed the latest FRV scholar to IE University<\/a>, Madrid, at the opening ceremony for the new academic year at the Segovia Campus.<\/p>\n

Tala Samer, from Jordan, has been awarded an FRV \u2018Young Talented Leaders\u2019 scholarship to the university. The scholarships are given as part of FRV\u2019s commitment to developing communities in which it operates. \u00a0Tala\u2019s scholarship relates to FRV\u2019s 66.69 MW dc Al-Safawi Project<\/a> in Jordan.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth scholarship that FRV has given in collaboration with IE, and the third for a project in Jordan \u2013 a key market for the business and a country where FRV has a strong social commitment.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony at the university and the reception that followed, Mr Sagi-Vela had the chance to meet Tala and her family, as well as previous FRV scholars<\/a>. Also in attendance were Rafael Benjumea, Chairman of IE University Foundation Advisory Board; Salvador Carmona, Rector of IE University; and Geoffroy G\u00e9rard, Managing Director of IE\u2019s
