As the world works to combat COVID-19, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are playing a vital role in the <\/span>fight against the pandemic –\u00a0 providing a deeper understanding of the virus, identifying important patterns and insights, leading to key learnings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although AI<\/span><\/span> alone will not eliminate the COVID-19, it has already been used in a wide variety of ways – from predicting local outbreaks to unpicking the virus’ genetic code and helping select drugs that can be used to treat the disease. <\/span><\/p>\n
