Congratulations to the team at Rivian<\/a>, led by CEO RJ Scaringe<\/a>, on securing a new round of investment led by T. Rowe Price.<\/p>\n

Raising US$ 8 billion since the start of 2019, the electric vehicle innovator has said that 2021 is a \u201ccritical year\u201d as it aims to put its electric pickup truck and SUV into production.<\/p>\n

The R1T pick-up has three battery size options, the largest being a 180 kWh pack capable of travelling more than 400 miles per charge \u2013 a true game-changer.<\/p>\n

JIMCO<\/a>, the global investment arm of the Jameel Family, was one of the early investors in Rivian and is an active investor in the future of mobility.\u00a0 Abdul Latif Jameel targets sustainable solutions as a vital contribution to a more mature mobility future.\u00a0<\/p>\n
