Women across the world of Abdul Latif Jameel<\/a> have come together in a new video to celebrate and recognize the United Nations International Women\u2019s Day<\/a> 2021.<\/p>\n

In line with this year\u2019s global theme, more than 30 colleagues raised their hands, promising that they #ChooseToChallenge, in a bid to raise awareness of gender equality, empowerment, equal rights, and diversity.<\/p>\n

With submissions from China, Spain, Lithuania, Tunisia, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, and the UK, the messages were truly global, and yet unified with one central sentiment.<\/p>\n

Sultana Abdulmoghny Yahya Al Amri, General Manager \u2013 Happiness, Human Resources, Abdul Latif Jameel Enterprises made the statement:\u00a0 \u201c<\/em>I choose to challenge because being a pioneer and successful female role model in happiness will help us achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In China, Zhou Jun \u5468\u96bd, Abdul Latif Jameel China Operations GM, added: \u201cI choose to challenge because the most important kind of freedom is to be who you really are.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blanca Benjumea from Abdul Latif Jameel\u2019s flagship renewables business FRV in Spain said: \u201c<\/em>I choose to challenge because together, we can create an inclusive world,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

While in Turkey, Nergis Bekdemir, Strategic Corporate Communication and Planning Unit Supervisor at Toyota Turkey added: \u201cI choose to challenge inequalities in all forms that hinder the growth and success of women.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Supporting the messages was Fady Jameel<\/a>, Deputy President and Vice Chairman, who added his contribution:<\/p>\n

\u201cI choose to challenge us all to value every individual\u2019s contribution equally.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
