Nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9voqu\u00e9 son potentiel en tant que source d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/alj.com\/fr\/perspective\/hydrogen-energy-a-green-revolution-hiding-in-plain-sight\/\">\u00e9nergie renouvelable<\/a>, sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des <a href=\"https:\/\/alj.com\/en\/perspective\/hydrogen-the-key-driver-to-zero-emission-transport\/\">solutions de mobilit\u00e9 verte<\/a> et l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant pour les <a href=\"https:\/\/alj.com\/fr\/perspective\/prochain-arret-transport-public-alimente-a-lhydrogene\/\">transports publics<\/a> aliment\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne. Cependant, on peut avoir le sentiment que malgr\u00e9 son \u00e9norme potentiel, il n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 tout \u00e0 fait \u00e0 la hauteur de sa r\u00e9putation. Du moins, pas encore. Mais apr\u00e8s quelques ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es dans l\u2019ombre, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est de nouveau sous le feu des projecteurs. Pourrait-il enfin passer du statut de \u00ab\u00a0strat\u00e9gie de niche\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 celui de \u00ab\u00a0concurrent s\u00e9rieux\u00a0\u00bb dans la transition verte mondiale\u00a0? Si l\u2019on en croit les derni\u00e8res \u00e9volutions en mati\u00e8re de transport, l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 de l\u2019univers n\u2019a pas fini de faire parler de lui.<\/p>\n<h2>La r\u00e9surgence de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne<\/h2>\n<p>Le march\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible (VEPC) aliment\u00e9e par hydrog\u00e8ne affiche une croissance significative. Selon le rapport <em>Global\u00a0EV Outlook\u00a02023<\/em> de l\u2019Agence internationale de l\u2019\u00e9nergie (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/\">AIE<\/a>), <a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>le nombre total de VEPC a augment\u00e9 de 40\u00a0% en\u00a02022 par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, pour atteindre plus de 72\u00a0000\u00a0v\u00e9hicules.<\/p>\n<p>La Cor\u00e9e du Sud est en t\u00eate du peloton\u00a0: le pays accueille plus de la moiti\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules de transport de personnes \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne du monde et les deux tiers des 15\u00a0000\u00a0nouvelles voitures \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible qui ont pris la route en\u00a02022. Les \u00c9tats-Unis suivent au deuxi\u00e8me rang du march\u00e9 des VEPC, avec plus de 15\u00a0000\u00a0v\u00e9hicules, essentiellement des voitures, et un peu plus de 200\u00a0bus \u00e0 piles \u00e0 combustible. Tandis que le stock de VEPC aux \u00c9tats-Unis a augment\u00e9 de plus de 20\u00a0% en\u00a02022, le taux de croissance de la Chine a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 ce chiffre avec une hausse remarquable de 60\u00a0%, ce qui en fait le pays dot\u00e9 du troisi\u00e8me plus grand parc de VEPC.<\/p>\n<p>La Chine accueille plus de 95\u00a0% des camions \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne du monde et pr\u00e8s de 85\u00a0% de la flotte mondiale de bus \u00e0 piles \u00e0 combustible. Le pays a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 ses 200\u00a0premi\u00e8res voitures \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 sa flotte de VEPC en\u00a02022, apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre surtout concentr\u00e9 sur les bus et les camions pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Le gouvernement vise \u00e0 atteindre un million de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne en circulation d\u2019ici\u00a02025<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>. Le Japon ne se classe pas loin derri\u00e8re, avec un objectif de 800\u00a0000\u00a0unit\u00e9s d\u2019ici\u00a02030<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>. En parall\u00e8le, le march\u00e9 mondial des v\u00e9hicules aliment\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne devrait atteindre 62,88\u00a0milliards USD d\u2019ici\u00a02032<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ces tendances indiquent une demande croissante de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne et une forte impulsion vers l\u2019adoption g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e dans divers pays. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9 la sortie de sa nouvelle voiture \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne, la berline Toyota\u00a0Crown\u00a02023, qui marque son premier lancement de v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne depuis dix ans<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>. D\u2019apr\u00e8s des rapports de l\u2019industrie, il n\u2019existe actuellement aucune alternative viable \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne pour le transport de marchandises sur plus de 1\u00a0000\u00a0km par jour sans \u00e9missions de carbone<a href=\"#_ftn10\" name=\"_ftnref10\">[10]<\/a>. En mai\u00a02023, la Cor\u00e9e du Sud a sign\u00e9 un accord avec des g\u00e9ants de l\u2019industrie comme Samsung, Hyundai et d\u2019autres pour mettre en circulation 2\u00a0000\u00a0autobus suburbains \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne d\u2019ici\u00a02026<a href=\"#_ftn15\" name=\"_ftnref15\">[15]<\/a>. Les moteurs \u00e0 combustion \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne, en particulier, repr\u00e9sentent une solution rentable z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission avec un co\u00fbt initial sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019environ 50\u00a0% seulement \u00e0 celui de leurs homologues diesel, par rapport aux VEB plus co\u00fbteux<a href=\"#_ftn18\" name=\"_ftnref18\">[18]<\/a>.
