ABD\u2019de tatl\u0131 su; elektrik santrallerinde termoelektrik enerji \u00fcretimi (%45), tar\u0131m arazilerinin sulanmas\u0131 (%32), evsel kullan\u0131m (%12), i\u015fletmeler (%5) ve su \u00fcr\u00fcnleri yeti\u015ftiricili\u011fi (%3) gibi bir\u00e7ok farkl\u0131 sekt\u00f6r i\u00e7in adeta can damar\u0131 niteli\u011finde.<a href=\"#_ftn16\" name=\"_ftnref16\">[16]<\/a> Yetersiz su, bug\u00fcn milyonlarca insan\u0131n mutlu bir \u015fekilde i\u00e7inde ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 toplumdan son derece farkl\u0131 bir toplum anlam\u0131na gelir.<\/p>\n<p>S\u0131n\u0131rs\u0131z suyun bulundu\u011fu evlerimizin mahrem ortam\u0131nda genellikle hafife al\u0131nan bu etkiler, talep arz\u0131 a\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131nda h\u0131zla hissedilecek. Amerika\u2019daki evlerde her g\u00fcn, \u00fczerinde pek de d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmeden yakla\u015f\u0131k 1.135 litre de\u011ferli tatl\u0131 su t\u00fcketiliyor.
