Ideally Positioned for East-to-East Trade

To foster ‘East-to-East’ trade, we opened our new experiential Tokyo Visitors’ Center at the front of our Japanese Trading Company offices in Tokyo in 2014.

This unique, interactive center educates our corporate guests about the abundant opportunities for investment, growth and development to be found across the MENAT countries — their young and tech-savvy population, the thriving arts and culture, and Abdul Latif Jameel’s deep expertise and know-how in the region.

The Visitors’ Center also allows us to tell narrative history of Abdul Latif Jameel that has spanned more than 70 years and showcase its operations at the heart of one of the world’s most exciting and fast-developing regions for investment.

This unique facility is a tangible demonstration of our passionate desire to bridge the gap between Asian and Middle Eastern business cultures while helping our potential Asian investors identify opportunities for mutually beneficial inward investment into the MENAT region.

"Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 Business Forum" in Tokyo

The Visitors' Center acts in a manner similar to a trade and industry office to promote commercial partnerships between Asian and Middle Eastern businesses.

The highly contemporary space features a series of interactive touch screen podiums which detail the socio-economic profiles of each MENAT region country to provoke informed dialogue on potential investment opportunities. The podiums are complemented by a large 21 screen video wall featuring a fully directed film showcasing the rapidly developing countries of the region.

The opening in Q1 2014, was attended by senior executives from Toyota Motor Corporation, representatives of Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Saudi Aramco, SABIC and other Saudi and Japanese companies and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Japan, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz A. Turkistani.
