New experiential visitor centre launched in our Tokyo office
With a combined GDP of USD $3.8 trillion in 2013, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) region continues to exhibit robust economic strength, while demonstrating the significant commercial opportunities it has to offer.
In an effort to foster a greater understanding of the business potential in the MENAT region, we have launched an experiential audio visual display within the offices of its General Trading Company in central Tokyo, Japan. This forms part of our ongoing strategy to increase our partnerships in the ‘East to East’ trade route.
The highly contemporary space features a series of interactive touch screen podiums which detail the almost 70 year history of Abdul Latif Jameel, along with the socio-economic profiles of each individual MENAT region country. The podiums are complemented by a large 21 screen video wall featuring a fully directed film highlighting the MENAT region.
The Center will act in a manner similar to a trade and industry office to promote commercial partnerships between Asian and Middle Eastern businesses. The opening in Q1 2014 was attended by senior executives from Toyota Motor Corporation and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Japan, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz A. Turkistani.
