Toyota Turkey has won Toyota Motor Europe’s 2014 ‘Value Chain Champions Competition’ for the third time since the competition was established in 2011.

Also known internally at Toyota Motor Europe (TME) as the ‘Value Chain Index Competition Award’ it is the most prestigious After Sales award given by TME amongst the 31 countries that currently have Toyota national sales companies in Europe.

The award is given to the best performing country in the areas of After Sales Marketing, Business Development Strategies and Implementation. Countries are encouraged to share their best practices through a portal on a quarterly basis and project evaluation is performed by TME Business Development executives. A strong performance in the competition correlates to higher standards of customer service for the consumer.

Toyota Turkey has performed strongly in the competition having won in the inaugural year of 2011, then again in 2013 and now the 2014 competition. Toyota Turkey scored 5 out of 5 points with the 2014 competition being evaluated under five categories: After Sales Products, Accessory Selling Power, Walk Around Check, Maintenance Reminder System and Hybrid Health Check.

As winner of the 2014 competition, Toyota Turkey hosted the award ceremony and gala dinner in Istanbul which was attended by senior executives of Toyota Motor Europe and Toyota Motor Corporation.
