Koji Nagata (永田浩司)

Koji Nagata (永田浩司) is President and Chief Executive Officer of Abdul Latif Jameel Japan, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, an international, family-owned and diversified business, founded in 1945, by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.

Mr. Nagata oversees the business operations and growth for Abdul Latif Jameel operations in Japan and business development across Asia-Pacific, including new business development in diverse sectors from renewable energy to health.

For Jameel Motors, this includes Lexus Nerima opened in 2005, on the 50^th anniversary of Toyota Motor Corporation’s partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel, as Japan’s first Lexus dealership set up with foreign capital.

Prior to taking up his current role in 2023, Koji Nagata held wide range of commercial and of leadership positions in operational and sales and marketing roles, for Toyota Motor Corporation and HINO Motors in Japan and overseas including a focus on the Middle East and Africa, Asia, and Latin American regions, during which time Mr. Nagata has lived in Singapore and India.

Koji Nagata holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Kyoto University.  He speaks Japanese and English.
