Maged El-Dakrory

Maged El-Dakrory is Managing Director, Aftermarket Operations, Trading & Manufacturing, Jameel Motors, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a collective of independent international, family-owned and diversified businesses, founded in 1945 by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.

Maged leads the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies across a portfolio of several well know OEM brands and owned parts and component brands – from engineering and manufacturing to distribution and retail – for the automotive aftermarket.

Maged originally joined Abdul Latif Jameel in 2007, where he started his career in the aftersales operations of our Egyptian Daihatsu importer for five years.  Following a number of leadership roles with auto-OEM Nissan, GM plus transport and infrastructure businesses in the Middle East, Mr. El-Dakrory returned in 2023, to take up this current role.

Maged holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University, and a Certificate of Management from the American University Cairo, Egypt.  He is fluent in both Arabic and English.
