Mahboob Khan serves as Chief Executive Officer of JENOA, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a collective of independent international, family-owned and diversified businesses, founded in 1945 by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.
With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mahboob joined Abdul Latif Jameel in 2015 and spent his first four years with the Company based in its headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before relocating to London, UK to set up the JENOA office.
Starting his career working with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and Far East, he has a varied background which has stood him in good stead for leading the team at JENOA. Mahboob has previously worked as a Property & Special Risks Underwriter, Underwriting Technical Specialist, Global Client Services Manager, and Risk & Insurance Manager.
Mahboob has an extensive experience across the Insurance value chain as a Underwriter, Risk Manager and now as a Broker. He has also covered a breadth of Product lines, including P&C, Marine, Energy, Automotive, and Special Risks & High Challenge Occupancies. His specialization includes Loss Prevention Engineering/ Underwriting and Risk Consulting.
A UK national, he has lived in various international hotspots including London, Boston, Paris, Frankfurt and Jeddah. Mahboob holds a degree in Economics and an MBA (Management) from the University of Leicester, UK.
