Jameel Motors and Geely Farizon enter Australian market with distribution of New Energy Vehicles
From the Jameel Motors Newsroom
- Australia is one of several countries where Jameel Motors is planned to distribute Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles.
- Australia represents a new market entry for both Jameel Motors and Geely Farizon.
Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and partner of choice to top automotive brands, and Zhejiang Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (Farizon Auto), the commercial vehicle sector of Geely Holding Group, a Chinese new energy commercial vehicle leader, have signed a distribution agreement for Australia.
With a population of over 26 million, Australia marks a new market entry for both Jameel Motors and Geely Farizon. Jameel Motors will be initially launching the innovative all electric Farizon SV cargo van and H9E 4.5T and 8T truck models within Farizon Auto. Both models will be available for purchase in Australia in H1 2025.
The distribution agreement aligns with Jameel Motors’ dedication to driving the continued transformation of the mobility sector and is part of a major international collaboration across several markets. It is also central to Jameel Motors’ strategy to expand their green mobility solutions to new geographies, such as Australia.
By bringing these new energy vehicles to Australia, the distribution agreement will cater to a growing demand for commercial vehicles in the country, and support Australia’s long-term vision of carbon neutrality as the country shifts towards sustainable mobility solutions.
Farizon is China’s first commercial vehicle brand to offer a full range of new energy products, including heavy trucks, light trucks, micro trucks, light commercial vehicles, and buses.
