Volkan Döşoğlu

Volkan Döşoğlu serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of ALJ Finansman A.S. (Jameel Finance, Türkiye) which is a leading digital consumer finance company in Türkiye, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a collective of independent international, family-owned and diversified businesses, founded in 1945 by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.

Volkan oversees all the operations and development of Abdul Latif Jameel’s financial services and insurance businesses across Türkiye.  He was appointed as Vice Chairman of the ALJ Finans Board from March 2021.

Between 2022-2024, he served as a Board Member Financial Institutions Association of Türkiye. He still holds the board membership of Credit Risk Center of Turkey, representing non-bank financial institutions.

Prior to taking his current role, Volkan was Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Services Officer, for Abdul Latif Jameel’s international financial services businesses across Türkiye, Egypt, and reinsurance brokerage business in UK.

Before joining Abdul Latif Jameel in 2014, Volkan Döşoğlu worked in both national and international top ranked banks with leadership roles in credit, risk management and audit.

Volkan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Istanbul University, Türkiye, and became a CPA in 2018.  He is fluent in Turkish and English.
