Toyota car owners in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region will soon have much more choice to personalize their vehicles with genuine accessories after Toyota Motor Corporation signed a new landmark joint venture with Abdul Latif Jameel.

Toyota Accessories and Development Middle East (TADME) will combine both companies’ experience and knowledge to provide accessories tailored to regional tastes.

Hassan Jameel, Deputy President and Vice Chairman of Abdul Latif Jameel Saudi Arabia, said:

“As customer needs become more complex and selective, we are pleased to offer motorists in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East even more choice when it comes to personalizing their experience with genuine Toyota accessories. Saudi Vision 2030 made clear the country’s strategy to invest for the long-term to build a thriving economy.  Opportunities like this will contribute to that objective, and develop regional expertise in the advanced automotive industry.”

Abdul Latif Jameel has been the official Toyota distributor in Saudi Arabia for more than 70 years, but the formation of TADME is the first time Toyota Motor Corporation has launched a joint venture with a distribution partner anywhere in the world.

TADME’s research and development facilities will open in 2018.
