Toyota Motor Europe has recognized its best European retailers for delivering exceptional customer experiences against the backdrop of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, France.

Toyota Turkiye, part of Jameel Motors, competed against 2,500 other Toyota dealers to be named the Best Retailer in Town at the ‘Ichiban’ Awards, a significant event which honors those considered ‘number one’ (Ichiban in Japanese) in their markets.

Two retailers from the Toyota Türkiye network were acknowledged as Ichiban winners: Toyota Plaza Aktoy and Toyota Plaza Toyan; with Toyota Plaza Aktoy also named as one of five retailers globally recognized for ‘Going Beyond’ in the Customer Excellence category.

The event was held during the official opening ceremony of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 and saw 46 retailers from 35 countries honored.

As a worldwide mobility partner of the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee, Toyota organized the Ichiban Summit – one of its most important annual events – within the environment of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The invited retailers had the opportunity to experience Paris, which is transformed for the Games, and take part in the Opening Ceremony of the Games.
